Mohau Nkota is back where it all began.
Just over a year after leaving Orlando Pirates for Saudi Arabia, the 21-year-old winger has returned to the Buccaneers on a season-long loan from Al-Ettifaq. The club has announced the news on their social media on Thursday, 03 September 2026.
For Pirates supporters, it is a familiar face returning and the Buccaneers can look forward to a more experienced player. Nkota have played in the same league as players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Junior and Karim Benzema.
I recently saw Mohau at the Gauteng Engen competition. Of course, the football fratenity was very happy with his presence and his willingness to be at the tournament for a full weekend, supporting the future stars in football.
Now he is back to an environment that he knows very well. With the Happy people – Amabhakabhaka.
